Author’s Note

Seventeen years ago, Mercenary Planet was born as a spark during the early days of my journey in animation and gaming. Life’s challenges forced me to set it aside, but the vision never left me. Through years of struggle, learning, and growth, the dream has only grown stronger—waiting for its moment to return.

Today, that moment has come. Mercenary Planet is no longer just an idea—it is a fully reimagined universe, ready to emerge as a game, a cinematic experience, and a story that reflects survival, resilience, and the power of imagination.

This journey would not have been possible without the quiet strength of family, friends, colleagues, and countless unseen supporters who believed in me when I faltered. To each of you, I offer my deepest gratitude.

As we move forward, I hope to bring this project to life with the support of partners, investors, and the Epic MegaGrant team. Together, we can build not only a groundbreaking entertainment experience but also an ecosystem that inspires, educates, and empowers the next generation of creators in gaming and design.

Mercenary Planet is more than a story—it is proof that even the longest waits are worth it when the dream is true.

Core Narrative

“The line between creator and creation blurs when survival is all that remains.”

The Style

The style of Mercenary Planet is dark, cinematic, and urgent, balancing visceral action with moments of quiet humanity. Written in vivid, technical detail, it blends fast-paced combat sequences with slower explorations of character, morality, and survival. The tone is post-apocalyptic yet intimate, grounded in the cultural and geographical backdrop of South Tamil Nadu, India. The narrative uses third-person past tense to explore resilience, sacrifice, and the blurred line between man and machine in a war-torn world.

The Synopsis

In a ravaged future where half the world lies in ruins, humanity faces extinction under the iron grip of Lord Kael, a fallen leader who commands an unstoppable AI-driven empire. In the shadowed villages of South Tamil Nadu, Sanjay, a reclusive and haunted scientist, dedicates his life to a desperate cause: building biomechanical warriors capable of standing against Kael’s army.

Guided by grief yet driven by hope, Sanjay creates five unique combatants—Viper, Striker, Hyena, Cancer, and H2borg—each embodying strange, hybrid designs of flesh, machine, and bio-core technology. With the help of Freya, a young survivor he rescues during the chaos, Sanjay prepares his creations for a battle that will decide humanity’s fate.

Together, they launch a daring resistance against Kael’s empire. But the tyrant’s centralized AI brain adapts faster than they can strike, threatening to annihilate both Sanjay’s creations and the last fragments of human resistance. As the war escalates, Sanjay and Freya must guide their biomechanical allies toward a final assault—a desperate mission to destroy Kael’s core brain before he triggers a self-destruct protocol that would wipe out what remains of the world.

With Freya, a young survivor, and Colonel Andrew, a defector from Kael’s army, Sanjay finds both allies and painful reminders of the cost of war. Their combined knowledge accelerates the creation of his biomechanical warriors—Viper, Striker, Hyena, Cancer, and the humanoid H2borg. As tensions rise and the creatures awaken, the team prepares to launch their first assault against Kael’s forces, setting the stage for a battle that will decide humanity’s fate.
